Copyright violation
- This image depicts a company's brand mascot characters which are covered by international copyright law. The image is a derivative work of an existing image. The existing image is very likely to fall under the copyright as it directly depicts the characters.
- Parodies and derivative works are no longer covered by the original copyright, so long as they are sufficiently different from the original work.
The characters' images have been significantly altered by the uploader - i.e. he has turned them into pirates. I believe this counts as a derivative work or parody, so the copyright no longer covers them. --Therobotdude 19:08, 24 August 2015 (PDT)
