Game concept
Tailoring puzzle, in which specific points of the puzzle (here after refered as "knots") must connect to other Knots and form an intricate web with no line between knots crossing over another.
Objective
To connect individual knots into one large web.
Gameplay
Use the mouse to connect each dot by either dragging a string along or clicking on one knot then another. Each knot can only be connected a certain number of times, and only in the Up/Down, and Left/Right directions (multiple attachments to other knots allowed). The number of strings sent by each knot would be indicated by a color or number in the center of the knot. Strings can not cross over each other without tangling. The puzzle itself moves from right to left as time goes on, creating more of the grid and taking part of it out of game play for scoring.
Scoring
You start the puzzle with no score at all, you lose points by either creating tangles or undoing strings from knots and allowing them to be pulled off the screen. You can achieve a good score by having what is taken off the screen be of good quality with few tangles, unused/unfilled knots, or extra strings, (tangles are worse than extra strings) or by completing clusters which will be pulled off the side of the screen along with whatever other pieces connect it.
Variability
The puzzle grid itself moves to change the game over time.
End criteria
Continue playing the puzzle for a set amount of time to complete the puzzle.
Difficulty scaling
Easy = few obvious knots, easy to figure out strings, Medium = Harder knots pop up, along with Weak knots that must be avoided. Hard = Super complex puzzles with tricky knots, extra clusters maze like pathways between strings and slip knots which require double strings. The edge of the puzzle will speed up somewhat.
Crafting type
Tailoring
Known problems
Seems the idea was done before (kindof) but this version has slightly different ruels. (plus it moves)
Notes
This puzzle may need to be allowed to make strings in more that the current 2 directions, and of course is welcome for improvement.
