How does copyright work in this case? I'm not particularly familiar with copyrights for derived works; who "owns" this image (or owned, as the case may be, since it's been uploaded here)? --Emufarmers 21:25, 25 July 2006 (PDT)
- This image is still copyright Three Rings. All components are taken from copyrighted Puzzle Pirates images and the only transformative action is the inclusion of additional figures in the image, an action that is sugested by the portrait layout itself.
