Color Confirmation
Do we have confirmation on the colors added here? Not questioning but I have some observations.
- Tan and Brown appear the same to me as shown in the image.
- The one listed as grey looks like it might be black instead.
- The one listed as blue looks more consistent with aqua to me.
- The one listed as maroon seriously does not look maroon to me. It looks more like indigo.
- Is it possible that green and light green are reversed? Not sure on this one.

- Questioning is good. I'm quite uncertain about most of the colours, which is why I posted here to get some checking and confirmation from The Mob. I'd already noticed that brown and tan are the same, and given the lack of a grey cursed effigy, I was also coming to suspect the grey was black. I'm reasonably sure the green and light green are the right way around - light green simply has a different hue rather than intensity. You may be right about maroon being indigo, but that's one of the ones I was most uncertain about. Again, indigo has a very specific hue, which the maroon one doesn't have. The blue was one of the other ones I was uncertain about. It looks more like teal. My uncertainty is the reason I hadn't made the template yet. =) --Belthazar451 14:03, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- I just loaded up a version of the blue version in the navy slot. However next to the "Blue" version makes that one look even more like aqua to me with the one I loaded for "Navy" looking well rather blue. I just can't square the "Maroon" one at all as it has a "burple" tint to it. I'm rather fond of Maroon myself and it just doesn't come close to any maroon trinket I have. That being said. Take a look and comment. I'm going to have a look at the Runestone trinket for the blue vs aqua as the spell scrap reminds me a lot of the runstone with the tinting. --Kgarrett1969 15:12, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Comparing the Runestone to the spell scrap I am convinced that the one currently loaded as blue is deffinantly aqua. The one I loaded for Navy is also consitent with the blue version of the Runestone. I'm going to go ahead and switch them as I know the one is aqua and we can move the other later if it turns out to be navy but I'm about 95% sure it is blue based on the runestone. I also requested a fact check from the OMs through my connections as an Administrator.--Kgarrett1969 15:22, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm coming to think that "maroon" may be violet. Also, "lavender" may be indigo. I'm starting to be pretty confident that we've seen all the colours of cursed effigies, and that list doesn't include lavender. - So, I found someone who had a whole lot of spell scrap trinkets, which means we could look at the trinkets in order. The one I had listed as maroon came before purple, thus making it violet. The one I had listed as tan came after green, which makes it orange. Who woulda thunk? --Belthazar451 23:43, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
