What exactly do you mean by the symbols used on the world map? Any chance you could elaborate? --Belthazar451 05:17, 20 June 2008 (PDT)
- Flotilla symbols, league points, blockade symbols, island symbols - anything that can appear on the "Yer known world"-map. A simple "legend" page for the map, in a way, of course with appropriate links to further information on flotillas and such. Basis for this is that it actually came up as a greeter question, and nobody on greeter chat could find a good YPPedia page to explain them. I'm actually planning to write the page myself if I happen to have time and nobody beats me to it. One possibility could be to expand the Yer known world article. I further think that the term "map" should actually redirect to that page instead of current Chart, but that is another issue. --Ileden 04:19, 27 June 2008 (PDT)
- Map legend: {{Island_key}} (Usage), as included in every island infobox, right below the island's map.
- Flotilla icons: Image:Flotilla_icons.png, linked from Flotilla.
- Difficulty scale: Image:Might_ring.png again, linked from every island infobox.
- League point memorisation: well... memorization ain't really subtly named.
- Feel free to assemble them into some coherent page as you see fit. Note that some of the symbols on the in-game Yer Known World are different to the ones used in the wiki maps. The Yer Known World only has one island symbol, and doesn't colour-code the routes for difficulty or purchaseablility. Note also that strictly speaking, the Yer Known World map is simply a series of disconnected league points - so long as any two league points are adjacent on the grid, it's possible to plot a course between them, regardless of whether there's actually an established route there. --Belthazar451 06:45, 27 June 2008 (PDT)
