Another warning

I cannot get any clearer than this. Reread YPPedia:Editors' Code of Conduct. Especially the spot that says Don't jump in to immediately change something that someone has just very recently edited. A general guideline would be to wait about 15 minutes after the last edit has been made. --Guppymomma 05:39, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Funny, I just edited the Mariea article, I do admit that I took time on the history part of it... because I went and searched up Pirate Time to see if it's been 15 mins... so I check to see if it was more then 15 mins and it was.. so I edited it, and the second before I clicked the EDIT button it was edited by User:Mariealyse‎... Honest mistake. --Addison 22:10, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Grammar

It's is "it is" and its is the possessive form. Please take note of this so you do not confuse the two and change correct grammar to incorrect grammar. --Guppymomma 17:09, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Oppsies-that was my 6:30 in the morning brain working.... think brain think! --Addison 17:14, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

CSD talk page

Please stop leaving new messages on the CSD talk page for every page you mark as CSD. You might notice you're the only one really doing so. This is because 99% of the CSD cases speak for themselves. --Thunderbird 05:28, 12 November 2008 (UTC)

Messages for other users

You have been warned before regarding the messages you have left for other users and this may be the last warning you receive before you receive another block. In the case of the page for Bambie, if you were to take a minute and look at the users that were editing the page, you would realize that they are more then likely in the same flag and they were working out how to deal with some pet template issues on the page (look at the page history to see what they were working on). It took me less then a minute to figure that out. They were probably talking to each other in game while they were doing it too. Maybe take a second and find them online (especially since they are on the same ocean as you call home) and ask if they need any help before jumping down their throat with your messages. Secondly, and most importantly, do not bold text on a user's talk page like you did on a first offense. The text you bolded was done so on your page for your failure to read what was previously written. I recommend you proceed with caution in your future edits. -- Cedarwings (talk) 04:51, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I had a question

This whole portrait thing is confusing me. How do I get Bambie's latest portrait, Skulldaggery, to show up on her pirate Yppedia page? No matter how I go about changing it--uploading a new version, what have you, it always reverts to that one with the stripey knickers. D: How do I fix this?

Pirate page

Hey mate please can you not edit my pirate page and keep saying Santas is an independent pirate Because i really don't like that on my page and i don't think it is mandatory.

No thanks mate its just its supposed to be a mystery who he is and that ruins it a bit but thanks for working on it anyways

What the heck

For some reason Bambie's portrait keeps reverting. Why is this happening? Why won't Skulldaggery stay as the portrait on her page? Could you help me, please? D:

Warnings for talk pages

The warning templates for talk pages should be used with the subst: keyword. Another thing, if frequent edits annoy you that much, you might consider to enable 'Enhanced recent changes' in your preferences, that way subsequent edits get folded into a single line. --Alfwyn 16:45, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

In fact, you are giving those frequency warnings far too often for numbers of edits that are too low and it would be best for you to not do so at all. --Guppymomma 17:57, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

heya!

srry about the avatar thingy, i was fixing them but i put up the wrong pic for one of the avies. the dark fairy one right? i mixed it up wit another. will change it in a sec. -Sweetkaya

Editing tables

I'm a little disappointed at this edit to the Trophy page. First, the "width" argument is redundant. Second, you can clearly see that the Cursed Forager trophy is not lined up with the Frenetic Forager trophy. A simple "valign=top" fixes the latter problem. I realize that you didn't add the row, but yours was the first to exhibit the alignment issue. Third, your use of "Unknown" is inconsistent with other trophies with unknown criteria (e.g., Jinxed Idol and Gilded Egg).

Ordinarily, I wouldn't expect most users to know how to do this or to pay that much attention to detail, but you have over 1500 edits on this wiki. With so many contributions, you should take more care in your edits. It's not a good use of other editors' time to have to clean up after you. And, at this point, you should be familiar enough with how to edit tables to know when commands are redundant and how to do basic alignment. Please use a more critical eye when previewing your own edits. Thank you. --Barrister 02:44, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

2008 Holiday Pirate Arrt Contest

I've moved the page into the Art: namespace where all art contests and archives belong. --Fiddler 16:06, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Okay thanks! =) --Addihockey (talk/contribs) 17:45, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Egg designs

In regards to adding to the yppedia page, please make sure you have posted your entry in the official forum thread http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?p=1798735#1798735 before you upload to the yppedia. This is the unofficial gathering of the designs. Also, the rendered egg designs have a specific size and the background must be transparent. If you are unable to make the renders this size, feel free to leave the rendered page for someone that can make the egg the proper size and resolution. Thanks. --Fizz 20:12, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

I actually host the images off Y!PPedia... so I upload them then host them (I was in the middle of editing me post before getting the ZOMGUHAVEMESSAGES! box) and thanks for letting me know about the transparancy/size issue. I will now follow yer instructions and hopefully do it right. Fair winds! --Addihockey (talk/contribs) 20:16, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Thanks mate! --Fizz 20:26, 22 February 2009 (UTC)

Moving articles to correct capitalization and marking the original-named article for deletion

Thanks for doing this! Could you also please update any links to the original-named article? That would be helpful. -- Faulkston 04:19, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Ack, my bad. --Addihockey (talk/contribs) 06:06, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

making defunct crews disbanded

Dont mean to be rude but, if you can not pull up the crew and or flag page by the link, it suggests that it is disbanded. And if the crew did merge keep the page as history that the crew once existed, but is now disbanded. If the crew is remade then we can change it to show it is active again. But if you can not pull the page up it means its disbanded--V1nc3

I think ye have it all wrong by putting |reason does not mean your deleting anything. It is telling the user viewing the page that you can not view the main crew page on that ocean because there is nothing to see. And even if a crew merges you can not view that page anymore as it says the no page found.Trying to keep the wiki up-to-date. For now lets keep it at disbanded because merging is the same as disbanded. If the crew merged you can reset the crew id to the mergie and notify on the crew page that they merged into whatever crew.--V1nc3

To disband is to remove the crew from the ocean. Merge is too remove the crew from the ocean into another crew. If you disband the crew is no more if you merge the crew is no more. Are you catching my drift? And this has nothing to do with the yoweb page. The yoweb page is not there meaning it is disbanded. Does not matter if the crew was merged or not, means that the crew is no longer active on the ocean.--(~Fair winds, Empire of viridian~ 03:23, 2 March 2009 (UTC))

And by what you have just said, says that the crew has Disbanded. I rest my case. (~Fair winds, V1nc3 ~ 03:36, 2 March 2009 (UTC))

re: Image names

Sorry! I know I did the first couple wrong, but I couldn't delete them. I think I did the next ones right. Sorry. Adrielle =) 05:05, 2 April 2009 (UTC)
