Public Statement
Ahoy and welcome to The Moonlight Marauders! We pride ourselves on leadership, fun, principle, ambition and being the tightest Flag in the ocean! You will find no better allies or more fearsome enemies then us! That’s right mates, make no mistake, we have our sights set on Midnight and we don’t plan on stopping until we are #1 in the ocean! If you are an ambitious, goal oriented, smart Captain that wants to be apart of something truly great, then contact myself or a Royal and we’ll see if this Flag is right for you! We wish the best of luck to you, your crew and your flag, and enjoy your stay with The Moonlight Marauders!
Leadership
History
In October of 2006, Crzyeyes of the Crzycrocane Corsairs created the flag The Moonlight Marauders, due to disatisfaction with the attitude of many of Midnight's other flags. Unfortunately, real life kept him away from the game until late December, and when he returned, he found his crew had all but collapsed.
He refounded The Moonlight Marauders in early January, and it grew to over two hundred members at its height. The flag participated in multiple event blockades and fostered a positive and active community of pirates.
King Crzyeyes kept the flag active in ocean politics, and while the flag was involved in a few small scuffles, it garnered ocean-wide respect. However, in May 2007, real life once again called Crzyeyes away from his computer and the flag disbanded.
In August, however, the flag was created for a third time. Crzyeyes just couldn't keep away from the challenge of running a flag, and enjoyed helping mates work as a team. The flag grew quickly, and fame skyrocketed. Soon it was home to many fine crews, and a strong base of Royals and Titled Members began to build up. The Moonlight Marauders were once again near the top of the fame list.
In the future, the flag plans to delve even more deeply into aspects of the game such as pillaging, shoppe keeping, and blockading.
