Fish/Injury

Are we sure that it's always one or the other? Chewbacca says he was on a ship that got sunk in Admiral II, but got nothing. Neither a fish, nor an injury. --Thunderbird 12:51, 13 May 2006 (PDT)

Eww...bug... So far, people have been reporting that you get one or the other. I've not heard of getting nothing. --Sagacious (talk) 12:53, 13 May 2006 (PDT)
There IS a bug which causes pirates to get booted from the ship before it sinks. Chewbacca is thinking he was subject to it. I know I've been subject to it (and have bugged it each time it's happened). --Thunderbird 12:54, 13 May 2006 (PDT)

I received a reliable report that you can't get both and injury and a fish at the same time. Further, from my experience, if you stay until you get the message, then you'll get something. --Barrister 14:07, 13 May 2006 (PDT)

On one of the Sage blockades today, I was on a sinking ship: It sank right as a break began. An awful lot of people jumped ship before the sinking process was completed, so it does seem probable that there's some sort of bug with it booting people, although I can't explain why I wouldn't have been affected. :/ --Emufarmers 14:11, 13 May 2006 (PDT)
It seems to be random. I'm guessing it may be caused by the client thinking the ship has sunk before it really has. However, the bug will also occasionally hit when you port out of the blockade zone (that happened to me today, ported after Round 1 and got thrown to shore). --Thunderbird 15:41, 13 May 2006 (PDT)

It is written that the only 2 ways to sink is either in sinking blockade or in PVP with ship from a flag with which your flag is in a war. What about Flotilla?

Go ahead and change it. This is what the wiki is all about! --Arminius 11:37, 31 May 2007 (PDT)
