Talk:Portrait facial expression

Example images
Considering they're illustrating just the facial expression, I'm wondering if the example images should be cropped to show just the face... --Belthazar451 11:45, 3 December 2012 (PST)
- Once all images are up I did plan on cropping all images. But thanks for suggestion anyway :3 Avastme Talk 12:12, 3 December 2012 (PST)
Werewolf & Vampire expressions
Is there a way I can extract these images and post them here without having to make portraits for each of the expressions? Also, if there are zombies... we should add skeletons as well. Because... *shrugs* --Prory 02:20, 3 May 2014 (PDT)
- I'm afraid there's no way to do it other than make portraits. Fortunately, you can make faces in free portraits. Basically, you need to make a new pirate, give them the amulet, use it, take it back, make a free portrait, save the portrait image file to your hard disk, then delete the pirate. Repeat as neccessary. Takes forever, but it doesn't cost anything. =) As for skeletons, do they make faces? --Belthazar451 05:58, 3 May 2014 (PDT)
- Yeah, definitely go skellies, and maybe even ghosts too. You should setup portraits to get the options for expressions (eyes mouth etc) but you might not need to actually paint the portrait. Note down the options, cancel the portait, and if there is (say) only one combination as with zombies then there's likely to be one under Category:Portrait images. I had a nose through the portraits and found these:
- File:Crews-The Skeleton's Revenge.jpg - skellie (male)
- File:Flags-Pandora's_Box.jpg - Skellie (female)
- File:Flags-In_Love_and_War.jpg - Werewolf (male - x4!)
- Werewolf (female) - only one I could find!
- File:Crews-Figureheads.jpg - Vampire (male and female)
- File:Pirates-Alniyat.jpg - Vampire (female)
- File:Pirates-Animmal.jpg - Vampire (male)
- File:Crews-Convergence.jpg - Ghost (male)
- File:Pirates-Capearl.jpg - Ghost (female)
- From what I can tell, the vampire has one set of eyes and several mouths; the werewolf has one of each; the skellie has one of each; ghosts look like they might use the same set as normal portraits. --Therobotdude 06:33, 3 May 2014 (PDT)
- The advantage of using the free portrait is that you can make everything else consistent. Plus, the background is nice and bright. --Belthazar451 15:08, 3 May 2014 (PDT)
- Maybe Cultist facepaint should be done too? --Crazymg 05:44, 21 September 2014 (PDT)
- Cultist facepaint is portrait skin and hair. --Belthazar451 14:48, 21 September 2014 (PDT)
- Which also has zombie faces --Crazymg 01:33, 22 September 2014 (PDT)
