Talk:Mudgrull

This article contains a small tidbit of information about the pirate, and thus meets the current criteria for pirate pages. I've removed the proposal for deletion because of this. --Barrister 22:27, 23 July 2006 (PDT)

I considered that, but the information presented in the page isn't really encyclopedic, because it could be found with a /who. I realize we resolved not to automatically push for the deletion of pirate pages which lack significant content, but I don't think that precludes proposing deletion for that reason on a case-by-case basis. It's not as though I marked it for CSD, after all. (Particularly since there are some other pages marked for deletion which are similar in terms of content to this one: Black Souls and Timberillo, for instance.) --Emufarmers 22:43, 23 July 2006 (PDT)
Minor note: I fixed up Timberillo's page. For the sake of your example, previously there was nothing on it but a portrait - no text at all. --Zava 23:53, 23 July 2006 (PDT)
A portrait is about as informative as a third of a line on crew affiliation and port of origin. If a pirate page with only an infobox is a candidate for deletion, why not a crew page with just an infobox (- Made out Rubies - and Knights of Sloth, to give two examples of pages created just today/yesterday)? I'm just starting to feel like we're verging towards inconsistency on this matter. --Emufarmers 21:15, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
There's a difference between an image and an infobox with actual text. --Barrister 22:18, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
Give me a chance on Knights of Sloth, I'm not feeling my best and wanted accurate information. --Lizzie 05:49, 25 July 2006 (PDT)
