Man, I feel dirty just having migrated/created this page. --Guppymomma 16:49, 19 August 2005 (PDT)
- While "gay" isn't really a bad word, it's a filtered word and I treated all the filtered words the same. It seems like if there's an issue with it, then it should be sent as a comment to Three Rings asking about why it's filtered rather than asking to have it in black letters on the wiki. --Guppymomma 20:25, 14 September 2005 (PDT)
- Yes. --Eurydice 20:26, 14 September 2005 (PDT)

"Gay" is offensive and is racist, there are nicer words to use than that. They still say it in the news though. --Lpmike 09:51, 17 May 2006 (PDT)
- Can I ask, how is "gay" racist? I've seen people say that quite a bit lately and it confuses me. Is there a secondary meaning/connotation I'm not aware of? --Lizzie 03:56, 16 August 2006 (PDT)
- To certain members of younger generations, "racist" has apparently become synonymous with "discriminatory." At least they get that it's wrong, though.
- Unless they consider gay people to be of a differnt race, now there's segregation at it's highest form :p. --Theemperor 20:48, 29 June 2007 (PDT)

Also, on an unrelated note, this article of full of win, and not because of the whited out parts :D --Diamondblade 12:01, 25 May 2007 (PDT)
Auto-reporting?
I seem to recall that any time you use the force-dropped words, you get auto-complained or something to that extent. Is that correct, and if so, should it be noted in the article? --Ponytailguy 10:39, 1 April 2006 (PST)
If so im in trouble because i was telling someone a story and it dropped the message cause of one of the words =X . --32083 10:47, 1 April 2006 (PST)
- Well, remember... I'm still not sure if it works that way. It's purely hearsay at this point, but it sounds like something they might do. And I wouldn't read too deeply into it; I think everyone's said "Rape and pillage" at least once. Myself, I once had a chat message dropped because it said "/em sniggers", and don't seem to be any worse for the wear. --Ponytailguy 10:57, 1 April 2006 (PST)
- Petition to Amphitrite, however, is conclusive: there is no auto-reporting. Chalk one up to status quo :) --Ponytailguy 14:30, 1 April 2006 (PST)
