I'll take a stab at fleshing this out in the next day or so. Just a caution, however, that Historian's "History of Midnight" thread is a highly biased view of some events. Material from that thread should be sifted through carefully. And, of course, Historian has forbidden us from using his history directly in the wiki, so anything taken from it needs to be rewritten. --Barrister 09:51, 17 July 2006 (PDT)

Um I'm not an oldtimer, and a fair bit of this contradicts my understanding of TO and Greenwolf history, as well as recent events. I have asked for input from the oldtimers. ~ Sweetiepiepi

I am advised by the oldtimers that the following points are incorrect: the motivations of Greenwolf, the reasons for formation of Tyr's, why Tyr's didn't initially take Jorvik, where Greenwolf went, and of course, that we did take Jorvik and Greenwolf did become governor. Those points, I recall, have always been topics of much debate. I'm trying to find the big thread from the old Loot forums. GW always held a different stance to the Looterati, for example. As far as I can tell, the reason is this: " They gathered with the intention of colonizing Jorvik Island when islands became open for blockades." which I thought I had implied in the page here. I'll reword it now. --Lizzie 11:16, 24 July 2006 (PDT)
