NPOV

To be perfectly frank, and referring to the sections regarding the Sierra Sunset, it really shows that it's someone on the wrong side of the cannonballs doing the writing. That information is not NPOV. --Ponytailguy 12:14, 2 February 2007 (PST)

All eventsl isted are factual and which yo ucan read upon if you so wish i nthe forums in the many pages that dicussed the Issue. None of the pirates taking part were mentioned nor the alts true identities. --EverclearBoy
I'm not suggesting anything listed is counterfactual. I'm suggesting it's one-sided and written very much so from the perspective of someone directly involved in the situation instead of an unbiased perspective, hence why I've tagged it as lacking a neutral point-of-view. --Ponytailguy 23:39, 3 February 2007 (PST)
I would love to see you come up with your definition of an unbiased perspective of the event providing accurate information of what happened and the circumstances surrounding it before & after, and post it then since you believe there is one.

Case in point Silverdawgs profile. I suggest you flag his as NPOV as well. That truly is an example of Non-nuetrality. Infamous... Celebrated... Sounds like puffing up to me.

If you feel other pages are NPOV, you're more than welcome to tag them NPOV yourself and raise the appropriate issues on the talk page. The editorial validity of other articles should have no bearing over the editorial validity of this one, and vice-versa. As to accusing me of censorship, that's giggleworthy at best. I was wholly uninvolved in the incident; I don't even have a pirate on Sage. I've nothing to censor, and resent the accusation. --Ponytailguy 20:12, 5 February 2007 (PST)

Silverdawgs profile has been up for months and months don't see you doing anything to Flag that profile. Any reason I am so special to deserve such attention?

Hello there. Please keep the discussion on this page on the topic of the EverclearBoy page. If you have overarching policy issues to discuss, please do in a separate policy discussion not on this page. In addition, I don't want to see any more accusations or insults thrown around here. This is to be kept civil. Calling something NPOV is not "censorship," nor does it smack of it. It is an attempt to keep this page encyclopedic in nature, as has been explained time and time again. Just because there will always be someone who disputes the neutrality of a page does not mean that neutrality should be scrapped entirely. Please comply with NPOV standards in your edits and articles. This has gotten ridiculous. Thank you. --Eurydice 21:49, 5 February 2007 (PST)

The NPOV issue has been here for a year and a half, and nothing has been done to resolve it. Since policy dictates that articles must be from a neutral point of view, I have removed the problematic section from the article and relocated it to Everclearboy/Sinking. Until the issue has been fixed, it needs to remain out of this article. --Thunderbird 16:19, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Grammar Issues

It'd be great if instead of lazy ambugious "grammar issues wandering around here" that the areas that apparently need fine tuning be pointed out, as you could easily slap that "grammatical" clean up tag on 80% of every page in the Yypedia.

It is true that other articles should have their grammar edited in places. That's got no bearing on this article and removing the cleanup tag does not address the grammar problems. There are going to be YPPedia editors who will assist in grammar and other editing. I'll look over the article myself and edit as needed. -- Faulkston 03:43, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
