History

When the crew was originally founded under the name Alexus Family to fit in with its flag, Lima Mafia by Alexus on 25 January, 2006. Soon after joining the Lima Mafia, the flag went to war with a much stronger flag and the Alexus Family lost both of its ships which in turn led to [the loss of many of the crew's pirates.

After the war, Alexus Family made a decision to leave the flag and to change the crew name to Scared Shipless.

It's been a short time waiting on the verge, and then the puzzles come to get me like a surge, if I sat there doing nothing with my day, how could I ever expect to get paid?

Ahoy! And some other piratey greetings to ye. This be Scared Shipless. In an attempt to make you like us, I have written a small collection of words. After reading it, you may decide ye want to join us; on the contary, you may not.

History; Scared Shipless was formerly know as the Alexus Family. Very green. It was origianlly designed as a spin off crew from the Salvatore Family, under the flag Lima Mafia. After a couple of months passed, it was brought to light that the game was actually about pirates, not Italian gangs. The pun was devised by Muppito, and has stuck ever since. Scared Shipless has been up and down the ocean, like most crews, and has seen a lot of action.

About us; We're a lively bunch, but not loud. We share a joke, spam the crew chat once in a while, the usual. While most of our members have retired to poker, we do hold quite a few pillages. As the summer is here, and we have nothing better to do, we will be probally holding alot more brig pillages and be more active on that side of the game.

Promotion Requirements

Cabin Person: Just ask us.
Pirate: Narrow in gunning. (But ye still have to ask to gun ;])
Midshipman: Officer in training. Narrow in Carpentry, Bilge Pumping Gunning and Sailing are required. Ye may not be in this position very long. Ye will be a Pirate with the title "Midshipman" and placed under an Officer, who will take care of ye. Any Pirate of the Crew please ask for this title as it won't be handed out other wise. Ye must be a Midshipman before ye rise to Officer.
Officer: After you've past Officer training ye'll need broads in Carpentry, Bilge pumping, Gunning and Sailing. Crew sloops are open for ye use.
Fleet Officer: Own a ship. Solids in all piracy (Carpentry, Bilge Pumping, Gunning and good ole' Sailing.) Ye will under go a Fleet Officer test. This will ensure yer knowledge of the game. Ye will also have to be accepted by the crew, by which I mean you should have regular interaction with the crew and we should all know who you are. Fleet Officers are just as, if not as important as, Senior Officers.
Senior Officer: Within time one of our Senior Officer's may get tired, or as the crew expands at the bottom, new Senior Officer positions will become available. We need more Officers before we have any more Senior Officers. So get recruiting for us!
Captain: If Captaincy is you goal, then feel free to join us. State your goal and I'll quite happily show ye the ropes, what it means to be captain, and all the other dirty jobs ye need to be good at. Ye will receive the title of "Roustabout" when yer Officer to show yer my 'apprentice'. When yer ready, we'd be happy for ye to join our flag.
