Extended Public Statement

Ahoy this is something called a public statement. It is here to tell you about the crew so if you want to find out more keep reading.

Rules are needed cause i dont want to have to expell someone cause they dont know them. So if expel/demote you then its most likly that you broke one of these rules.

More stuff in the Private statment but for crewbies only so hope to see you if not in our crew than at least jobbing or come to one of our parties.

Crew Articles

  1. Do not laze. If you laze for more that 20 seconds without a very good reason I will plank you.
  2. I don't care how hard you worked, if you get planked or leave in battle you get 0 poe.
  3. Follow orders and work as hard as possible.
  4. Do what the commanding officer tells you to do and obey orders; they usually know what's best for the ship.
  5. Do what the captain tells you. If they tell you to go get them a hot dog, then go get them one (this rule applies to all SO's of ships and any officer on ships).
  6. No begging of any kind, for port or for poe, it's all bad. You shouldn't be begging for port with the new pay system, you should be begging for battle.

Rules for Officer and Above

  1. Ask permission to sail a ship that's not yours.
  2. DO NOT take anything from ships that aren't yours, this is charts and selling stock and taking the poe.
  3. If you do get permission to sail a ship, make sure you can restock it even if you don't make anything. So if you want to take out a sloop make sure you have about 2000 poe on hand to restock just in case.
  4. Ask before you invite people to join, this makes people mad, and only ask at port.

If you break any of these rules you can be demoted/expelled, and there will be only one chance.

Promotion Requirements

  • Cabin person: Ok, this is the starting position. Anyone that wants to be one can come and ask any officer in the crew. You may be turned down IF
  1. You don't know the difference between numbers and letters
  2. You don't show that you can be a team player
So about 90% of the people will fit in for the other 10% look at another crew or try and act like you fit it you might trick us.
  • Pirate: Narrow in gunning, that's what it lets you do. Also must have or be able to get a pirate badge. Note that new pirates can't gun without getting the gunner title or being asked/ordered by an officer. To get your gunning up take any mission with the navy. Once on the ship, click on the ahoy panel and look for cancel mission. DON'T leave the ship. Go to the gunning station and click on it. Click on the instructions if you need help or play if you think you're ready.
  • Officer: Good attitude. Must have broads in 2 piracy standings and solid in a third. New officers will be able to sail sloops and cutters with a SO or FO onboard, or after getting permission. All new officers need to contact Deathslasher or a SO for officer training.

Only the captain promotes above Officer, but first talks it over with all SO's to see if they approve. If you beg to get these ranks you will not get them. If you are an officer and try to promote yourself the answer will be no.

FO and SO members get titles based on their good puzzles and helping to set up crew events.

  • Fleet officer (FO): You get fleet officer after being an officer and
  1. Run at least 3 pillys while being an officer
  2. Be with the crew a while, you need to be trusted to get this position.
This is because one FO can decide to steal anything they want from our ships so don't expect to get it immediately after joining.
Once you think you're ready and make the requirements, go to a SO and tell them you're ready for fleet officer. Then the captain will run one test pilly to see if your ready to be a fleet officer.
  • Senior officer (SO): Not to be taken lightly. There is no real requirements to SO, most people who get it spend long amounts of time with the crew and getting to know us before jumping from FO to SO.
So in a nutshell, you can make SO but don't ask for it or you will never make it.
