Morannon Island is an outpost island located in the Tern Archipelago. There are two known routes from the island: Ashkelon Arch and an inter-archipelago route to Lincoln Island in the Gull Archipelago.

History
Morannon Island is named for the alternative name of the Black Gate in the Lord of the Rings book series.
Morannon Island was originally located on the Sage Ocean. On the southwestern peninsula, on a rock the inscription can be found reading "This island were fashioned by Drusilla."
