Maragato
Maragato is a Brazilian pirate of the Emerald Ocean, and the founder and captain of the crew Missing Angel's. He began playing Puzzle Pirates in October 2005, and on 18 June 2006 he founded the crew on the Sage Ocean, bringing together friends he had made in the game.
History
On 31 January 2012, the Sage Ocean and the Hunter Ocean were merged to form the Emerald Ocean. The crew remained where it had been founded. Over the years it was affiliated with Notorious, later sailed under the Insurrectionists flag, and for several years has sailed under the Black Flag.
Home waters
The crew's main fleet is based at Wensleydale, a large island in the Gull Archipelago. Wensleydale was one of the four original colonized islands of the Sage Ocean, alongside Descartes Isle, Greenwich Island and Lincoln Island, and takes its name from the Wensleydale region of North Yorkshire, England. The island produces hemp, iris root and wood, and is the only island on the Emerald Ocean that purchases lapis lazuli gems. Its shipyard, A-Sea I Go, and its palace, Roquefort, are among its notable buildings. Sea routes lead from Wensleydale to Admiral Island, Basset Island, Cromwell Island and the Isle of Kent.
The Gull Archipelago comprises eight islands: Admiral Island, Basset Island, Bryher Island, Cromwell Island, Hook Shelf, the Isle of Kent, Lincoln Island and Wensleydale. Limes and passion fruit can be foraged there.
Businesses
Maragato owns two stalls on Wensleydale:
- Maragato's Ironworking Stall, an iron monger, operating since March 2006.
- Maragato's Apothecary Stall, an apothecary, operating since March 2025.
