Labor alts

Labor alts are alt characters equipped with a labor badge used for providing labor often for crew or flag mates or hearties or alternatively used for foraging.

There has been much debate on whether using labor alts is against the Terms of Service as it could be argued that by using labor alts, you are changing the game mechanics in order to provide cheap labor or to increase your chances of foraging gold nuggets. To counter this, the developers added in a limit to the number of alt accounts you can create on one computer. The release of the foraging puzzle may help reduce the impact foraging alts have on an ocean's economy.
