- This article refers to the event gems used on the Midnight Ocean. On the Cobalt and Viridian Oceans, jaspers are normal gems, bought at Crimson Island.
Jasper gems were used in the Mad Sloop Race around the Midnight Ocean. The event had to be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, but a few of these gems made it into public circulation, and were subsequently pillaged from brigands[1]. No market buys these gems, and they disappear when a ship's state resets, just as any other gem.
