Flocktarts is a dormant crew that sails the Emerald Ocean, formerly the Hunter Ocean. The crew currently flies the flag of Insanity.
History
Flocktarts was founded by a group of pirates that moved to Hunter from several of the older oceans on 20 April, 2006, the first day of the Hunter Ocean. The name comes from a convolution of docktarts and the bird theme of Quetzal Island. Two of the founding members, Synful and Polly, designed the island and named the buildings of Quetzal respectively.
Flocktarts was originally founded as an independent crew with a focus on merchanting and events. The crew was founded with a promise that members can always do what they want to enjoy the game, regardless of future alliances or other political entanglements. Officers have owned stalls of all types since the beginning of the crew. Many events have been run by Flocktarts members, including a series of forum events by Peanutswench and Polly called "Frequent Flocktarts Fun".
Finally looking for more than independent merchanting, the members of Flocktarts decided to found a flag and get more involved in oceanwide politics. On 5 November, 2006 the Flocktarts founded the flag This End Up. Though the crew is now politically tied within an active flag, individual Flocktarts members are still free to do as they choose regardless of politics as originally promised when the crew was founded.

We are an adult crew based on Quetzal Island, but sailing throughout Hunter Ocean. We have pillagers, carousers, and merchants within our mix, so there's something for everyone.
