  • At some point in mid to late 2006 the crew switched flags and became a member of Your Worst Nightmare.
  • In October of 2006 the crew changed it's name from The Dark Angels to Dream Crushers through a popular vote of the crew.
  • In February of 2007, Dream Crushers merged with the long-standing Sapphic Imperials.
  • In June of 2008, Dream Crushers withdrew from their founding flag and joined Coerced Coexistence.

Public Statement

Teaching your officers manners, one by one.

Crew Articles

We have a few basic rules:

  1. Ask PTB (permission to board) before getting on any occupied ship you don't own and wait for the Officer in charge to say "granted."
  2. The quantity of crew chat can become bothersome to some. Try to keep non-greetings and non-piratey questions off of crew chat. If someone asks that the crew chat be quieted, please respect that.
  3. Please don't beg. For poe. For clothes. For anything. Asking for loans is the SAME THING!
  4. We have a rule regarding KB split. If you are present at the time KB is won, remain until port, and receive nothing extra, please let Fritz or an SO/FO know.
  5. Please refrain from asking the captain and other officers 1001 questions. Gameplay questions can usually be answered on the YPPedia]. Answers to common "greenie" questions can be found on the Y!PP forums Y!PP forums. Crew policy questions can usually be answered right here. Questions like "are we going pillaging" will usually be met with sarcasm and distaste. If there will be a pillage, officers will use crew chat to alert the crew.

Promotion Requirements

Some guidelines on promotions follow. If you feel you meet the qualifications for higher rank, let an officer know:

  • Cabin Person: To be promoted to cabin person (become part of the crew), ask at the end of a pillage. You usually will not become part of the crew in the middle of the pillage. Officers are too busy running the pillage to take time out and invite you then. Pillage with us once, don't booch it, don't leave in the middle of a battle, and just be polite. That's all it takes and you can be a part of the crew :-)
  • Pirate: You should have some familiarity with the gunnery puzzle. Master in gunning is required to become a pirate in this crew. To unlock the gunnery puzzle in the Navy, you need only narrow experience in bilging, carpentry, and sailing. Being a pirate is not free reign to grab the guns on pillages though. Always ask if you may gun. Announcing your standing at the puzzle is helpful as well when asking to gun.
  • Officer: You should already have a pirate badge and have some experience navigating and battle navigating for the navy. A standing of master in battle navigation is required to become an officer in this crew. To unlock the navigation puzzle in the navy, you need to have a broad experience in bilging, carpenting, sailing, and gunnery AND buy a pirate badge. It's not as hard as it sounds :-) To unlock the battle navigation puzzle in the navy, you need to achieve an experience of narrow in the navigation puzzle. Once you achieve the stat, you will be trained on things the navy can't teach you (by our high-ranking officers). Training may take a week or so, to coordinate times to get together with FOs or SOs and learn. Be patient. You'll make it :-)
  • Fleet Officer, Senior Officer: The captain leans heavily on FOs and SOs to train, help, etc... with the other members of the crew. If yer willing to do this as an officer, yer likely to eventually make the higher ranks. Also it takes time and trust. And a bnav of grand-master doesn't hurt either! Requests to be FO or SO are ignored. When it happens, it happens, so please don't ask.
