Crew Statement
Gather round children, gather round...and a tale I'll tells ye about a crew from the days long past the days of Azure. There was a crew once that sailed those fearsome waters of antiquity a crew made entirely of the shades of pirates, or so they say. Fearless they were and fearsome to behold in battle, they took no quarter nor gave none and when the last dieing sound of their guns tolled away into the obscurity of silence, no evidence of those they were fighting was to be seen...at least on this side, of the surface. More ships and brave crews went to Davy Jones at the behest of this crews guns than can be remembered here but what is remembered be their name...Dark River! In legend there is a river so black and shrouded in mist and fog as not to be able to hear nor see it's length nor depth, even in its shallows. And to cross it ye hast to pay the ferryman in the gold of your soul. It is being said, that Dark River once again sails to reign bloody terror upon the unsuspecting or the hapless unwary, but on the ocean of Midnight and in fealty to flag Otherworld. Like that black river of legend, To assail Otherworld you'd first have to get past this crew! “Abandon all hope ye who sail the ocean of Midnight, for ye have chanced upon Dark River...and we give no quarter”!
