Broadsider
Broadsider came to the Sage in early 2007 after stumbling onto the game looking for something to pass the time. Little did he know then that this addiction would be more than enough to pass the time.

Biography
After logging in for the first time, Broadsider was hooked. He started his career on the seas of the Sage with a little crew called the Pirate Monkeys. He spent a little time with Devil's Bane but ultimately returned to the Pirate Monkeys. After rising to the rank of Senior Officer, he was heavily involved in the politics of the crew.
During this time, the Monkeys decided to unite all the monkeys on the Sage under the banner All Monkeys United. Being a Prince in this flag, Broadsider was the flag's spokesman. He helped stave off a war between AMU and several other flags after the king sent out blind alliance requests. During this smoothing-out process, Broadsider began friendships with several monarchs, including Mahr, Blackvixey and Amylo.
It was during this time that Broadsider began to grow a love of iron. He started a little cannonball factory on Wensleydale. After a period of growth, real-life issues began to affect AMU and the Pirate Monkeys. The crew began to shrink and soon became a shell of its former self. After discussions with several other crews, Broadsider closed up his iron monger and cut his ties to the Pirate Monkeys. Eventually, he ended up taking a Fleet Officer position with Scallyways.
Showing his skill in the political arena, Broadsider soon advanced to Senior Officer and was given the title of crew Ambassador. He also opened another iron monger on the Isle of Kent. It was around this time that the Scallyways decided to split off from the Insurrectionists and form the flag Sirens of the Sea. Broadsider was given the title of Prince Ambassador by Queen Mahr.
He can currently be found hopping between shop management duties and out on the Sage trying to get in his required number of pillys each week. Most Tuesdays and Thursdays he will be found out with the Scallyways doing organized crew activities. During OCA's, he can be found joking and puzzling with other crew mates Scrim, Playfulnymph, Queen Mahr, and Fables.
