Island Metropolis was a contest held in the Mariner's Muse section of the YPP forums during April 2005. Participants were given the simple criteria of designing an island "that beautifully integrates the man-made and the natural." This island had to use at least one of every building type. Sseth received a free article of gold clothing, a free ship rename, and the opportunity to join the island design team. Runners up received a gold tricorne and the opportunity to join the island design team.
