The YPPedia is an ever changing entity with many facets for usage and information. As such, it is necessary for our users to be knowledgeable of the changes that take place in policies, guidelines, templates, administrators, and all aspects of the wiki. This page is a directory of all recent changes made to the wiki in that respect and will contain all updates for the past three months.

Policies

- 04/12/2008 - Hearty lists are not permitted on pirate articles.
- 09/15/2007 - Large galleries of portraits on crew/flag pages are to be hidden.
- 04/04/2007 - Separate articles for stalls owned by a pirate are no longer permitted and related information is to be confined to individual pirate articles
- 03/18/2007 - PEAR scores are no longer permitted on pirate articles.
- 02/27/2007 - Lists of trinkets and pets longer than twelve items total should be hidden inside a show/hide box. Ex: Vova, Stevensam.
- 01/22/2007 - Lists of standard renamed ships are no longer permitted on pirate articles.

Templates
- 05/21/2007 - The {{Infobox pirate}} (Usage) template now has a new parameter for each pirate, rank. It displays an icon representing the indicated rank on the Yoweb link box to the left of the ocean name. See here for an example.
- 04/13/2007 - All the {{Stub}} (Usage) templates have had {{clear}} (Usage) templates added to them, and a new category, Category:Stub templates, was created.
- 04/02/2007 - {{Infobox_flagblockadef}} (Usage) can now accommodate up to 36 blockade listings. See Notorious Fandango for example.
- 03/27/2007 - {{Infobox_flag}} (Usage) now contains the ability to add a flag portrait similar to the infobox configuration seen on the individual pirate articles. Flag images should be uploaded to the filename Image:Flags-flagname.jpg. See the usages notes on the template page for more information.
- 03/25/2007 - {{Infobox_crew}} (Usage) now contains the ability to add a crew portrait similar to the infobox configuration seen on the individual pirate articles. Crew images should be uploaded to the filename Image:Crews-crewname.jpg. See the usage notes on the template page for more information.
- 01/23/2007 - {{Infobox_pirate}} (Usage) now contains direct links to the pirate's portrait gallery
and trophy gallery 
. These will be automatically displayed next to the ocean Yoweb link on each article employing the template. For more information, see Template_talk:Infobox_pirate.
- 01/11/2007 - Links to Yoweb crew and flag pages are now available through the Infobox_crew and Infobox_flag templates. These function using the crew/flag identification number listed when opening the page in a browser. For more information, see Template_talk:Infobox_crew. For an example, see the British Bandits article.
