What: Furshizzle 3rd party goes on a field trip
When: June 23rd - June 25th (check-in time is 3pm Friday - check-out time noon Sunday)
Where: We'll be at the Buckeye Lake KOA, Outside of Columbus Ohio
Who: This one is going to be open to EVERYONE. That's right you minors that have been dying to attend one of these parties, this one's for you.

Space is limited to 9 One Bedroom cabins, 5 Two Bedroom Cabins, 2 Lodges ( Sleeps 6) and a few adjacent tent sites. First come, first serve. RSVP's are not confirmed until Furshizzle has received the payment via mail or paypal. If you have been wanting to attend and haven't yet, do not delay. If you have come before, well you know the drill and Furshizzle knows you won't want to miss out on this one either.

Payment

Payment can be made to Furshizzle 2 different ways.

  1. Send me a check or money order.
  2. I can also accept www.paypal.com payments for an additional fee **the fee for paypal will be $5 per transaction** ( yes you can pay by credit cards this way )

As governor you are in charge of collecting the funds from the people on you island. You're in charge, so you can ask them to pay you in advance, or once they see you in June, it's all up to the governor on how he wants to run the island. That also means you can choose who stays in your cabin, and how many (up to the max allowed).

We are renting out all the cabins for this weekend, so what we have is all the cabins there is, again I can't stress enough to get those payments to me ASAP.

Unsure of your group size?

You want to come, but don't know/have a group of 3-4 people? Okay, I have a few options for you.

  1. Make it a day trip and come hang out with us for the afternoon, this will cost $10 a day plus the auction donation. Please do not just show-up you still must RSVP.
  2. I will myself reserve 3 cabins for this reason. This way it can house up to 12 people. In this case you will not be able to choose who you are staying with I?m just housing 1 cabin after another until they are filled. Again, first come, first serve.
  3. Become a governor and I will post that you are looking for people to share a cabin with you. This way everyone that looks can see who has space available and they can PM you. I have no doubt every space will be filled up.
  4. Post in the thread that you are looking for others to share with, see who pops up.

Costs

How much will it cost:

  • Each 1 room cabin is $240 for the weekend, (so a cost of $30.00 per person, per night based on 4 people per island )
  • Each 2 room cabin is $324 for the weekend, (so a cost of $27.00 per person, per night based on 6 people per island )
  • Each lodge is $480 for the weekend, (so a cost of $40.00 per person, per night based on 6 people per island ) **** SOLD OUT ****
  • Each tent slot is $184.00 for the weekend (so a cost of $23.00 per person, per night based on 4 people per island ) 2 people in a tent would be $120 for the weekend

What is included in your payment?

  • Your sleeping area ( a bed for everyone in a cabin or lodge )
  • 2 meals a day. ( Breakfast and Late Lunch/ Dinner )
  • Sodas, you still may want to bring some of your own.
  • Campground activities like the swimming pool, horseshoes, etc
  • A live band on Saturday night
  • DJ Llama/ DJ Quiglin
  • All the pirate mates and cards you can stand.

What should you bring?

  • This is BYOB, so if you want to drink it, bring it.
  • Sleeping gear (sleeping bags, sheets)
  • Campfire cooking items
  • Snack if you want them
  • Toiletries and towels for bathing
  • Cameras, video equipment
  • Every person that comes is required to bring a "piratey themed" item to be auctioned off - This item can be about anything, so long as it is a pirate theme. Some ideas are:
    • Original pirate art, signed by the pirate that made it.
    • A pirate hat
    • Cookies made into skull and crossbones
    • Pirate Lego set
    • Basically what I'm saying is it can be made, created, or bought - the sky is the limit, but there's no reason for this to be an expensive costing item. The PoE made by these items will go to paying for the weekend. I know not all of you know me in real life, and this may sound a little fishy to you. I am pretty sure anyone that has met me in real life will stand-up and say I don't make money off planning this or any of the parties I put together.

Anyone that has been to any of my other parties knows I tend to not plan a lot because...Well, we end up talking, drinking and playing cards too much to really DO much else <.< , but be sure you'll stay entertained for the weekend!

FYI, the KOA will not allow us to have a "slip & slide" or a jell-o pool. /me ducks from the mob of angry pirates.
