Regarding links to User: pages... It's a general issue about keeping the links in the main searchable area. User: pages don't come up in the default search. It's perfectly fine to have links from User: pages to the main ones, but not the other way around. I'll see about getting our Style Guide updated to reflect this. We've been consistently enforcing this since day one. --Barrister 23:07, 30 October 2005 (PST)
