Portrait images
Ahoy mate, I have noticed you uploading various crew, flag, and pirate portraits to the Wiki. If you don't mind, could you label these works as copyrighted material by typing "{{portrait image}}" in the description field before uploading? Thanks and keep up the good work. -- Haywoodx(t/c) 13:04, 16 June 2008 (PDT)
- In the summary box on the upload page type {{portrait image}}. Sorry for the confusion-- Haywoodx(t/c) 17:11, 16 June 2008 (PDT)
User Talk Pages
Ahoy mate, I have answered your question to the best of my ability about ships on User_talk:amoyer's page. As a general rule answers to questions will be addressed on the page the question was presented and the discussion contained therein. This keeps all relevant responses together for reference purposes instead of trying to track down the discussion across multiple user talk pages.-- Haywoodx(t/c) 22:35, 16 June 2008 (PDT)
Crews/flags that no longer exist
The answer to your question on Talk:Dark is no. There is a separate template to use to show that a crew or flag no longer exists. Where it says "infobox crew" or "infobox flag" add (defunct) with no space. So "infobox crew(defunct)" or "infobox flag(defunct)". This applies to crews and flags that are either completely disbanded or are completely dormant. You can also add a field stating which one it is for. Example: |reason=Disbanded or |reason=Dormant . If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me. :) --Fannon 17:19, 17 June 2008 (PDT)
Ursa Arch capital
I got your message on my talk page, but I've been told that Alkaid is the capital of Ursa, not Sayer's Rock. Alkaid is the only island in the arch that buys amber gems, which is the signifier of a capital island. --Fannon 05:09, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Heartless Rage
Ahoy there! Just a word in your ear: even if a crew or flag has disbanded, we like to leave their encyclopedia entry in place, just for posterity and so that articles that link to them don't suddenly break. Your edit has been reverted for this reason... nothing personal, we just like to look to the future. Fair winds! -- Cedarwings (talk) 11:15, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
