Re:pirate page cleanup

No problem! :) If you have any questions about what is and isn't allowed on a page, or how to properly format something, feel free to leave me a message. I'm glad to help! --Fannon 03:23, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

Use the Template:Infobox_crew on the crew page. The sample crew page has some suggestions for what information to add, as well. Note that not *every* area of that page needs to be used- in fact, I recommend against it. If all else fails, just put whatever information you can get on there, and I'll check on it and fix it up for you. Then I'll leave you another note here with a link to where you can see what changes I made, so you'll get an idea of what to do. :) --Fannon 15:17, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
To fill out the infobox, do not replace the parameters. Instead, put the information on the other side of the infobox. crewname=The High Seas Council captain=Natedawg, etc. Changing the parameters breaks the box. :) For the dates, insert the number of the month, July=7, April=4, and so on. --Fannon 04:21, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

I rolled back the changes to your pirate page to fix what you changed. Were you trying to add your gallery for Malachite? Also, I cleaned up your crew page. You made almost all the correct changes to the infobox to get it to work, except for putting the months in number format. Go here to see all of the changes I made. --Fannon 12:38, 27 July 2008 (UTC)

Ah ha, portrait, that's easy. First, pick the portrait you want displayed and save it to your computer. Make sure you're looking at the full size portrait (like on the page where it shows all the details of the portrait). On your pirate page, change portrait=no to portrait=yes. Hit preview page, and if you see a red link instead of a portrait, save the page. Click the red link which will take you to the upload page, then select your portrait from where you saved it on your computer. In the summary field, type in {{portrait image}} and then save. If you'd rather I just did it for you, that's fine too, just let me know which portrait you wanted. :) --Fannon 18:39, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
