I did the incorrect cases I could think of being relevant. Of course all the other cases of breakage being possible before are still possible. Any other scenario that would be interesting ?

Tertiary addition

Kgarrett just tried to add it in, but it was breaking the OM doll template. I'm not sure if he added it how you had added it, but something wasn't quite right. I added a note about this on Template:Colorize_trinket's talk page. --Guppymomma 10:23, 5 March 2008 (PST)

Well, from what I can see he is tryin a {{trinketname|first|second|text|third}} scheme right now instead {{trinketname|first|second|third|text}}. But yes, I can add the OM Doll to my examples to test it before implementation. --Alfwyn 10:25, 5 March 2008 (PST)
Maybe you and he can combine superpowers and take care of this since you seem to have it working and he's got the admin editing powers & understanding.  :) --Guppymomma 10:28, 5 March 2008 (PST)
Actually they are all unprotected, except the pirate infobox. But yeh, let's see if we can sort it out.--Alfwyn 10:29, 5 March 2008 (PST)
Hawkings: It'd been the OM doll in the pirate infobox area that hadn't rendered right. First link I tried peering at, Escape. The word tertiary was to the right of the little doll image. --Guppymomma 10:48, 5 March 2008 (PST)
Aye, that's consistent with putting the tertiary argument outside of the template brackets (i.e. {{foo}}|tertiary=bar}} instead of {{foo|tertiary=bar}} --Alfwyn 10:55, 5 March 2008 (PST)

different schemes

{{trinketname|first|second|text|third}}

  • pro: does need a (small) change less in 'My trinket'
  • pro: would not break the unlikely case of a two color trinket with an excess argument given

{{trinketname|first|second|third|text}}

  • pro: looks a bit more logical to have all the colors next to each other (is nearer to the usage for 3 color pets)

Feel free to add things you can think of.
