Panteraa's Drinking Help
Introduction
Lots of people are confuzzled over drinking, when really, it's something that should be enjoyed in vast quantities. So here I am writing this little guide so that everyone can become #1 in drinking on their corresponding oceans.
Reminders
- Remember how many points you're trying to get. It's not good when you're in a 2000 game and think you're in a 1500, and you hit it with no chance of getting any more rows.
- Learn your mugs and what rules they are best at. More on this later.
- Remember how rows are scored. It's very important to appreciate what will score you +50 points and what will make your opponent not score 50 points.
Placing pieces
Pieces can only be placed adjacently by colour:

Or by piece:

Now it's important to note that pieces can't be placed unless they follow one of these rules. So you're opponent is making a row? Block it!
This reduces the odds of your opponent getting a piece that will fit to complete the row.
Visual explanation:

This row only needs one of the jars <image link broken> to complete. In a 5 colour match, that's about a 1/5 chance of completing the row.
So when a piece blocks the row, it reduces the chance...

This row here can only be filled by this piece: <image link broken> Thus, the blocking piece, circled in purple, has reduced the odds of clearing that row from 0.2 to 0.04, excluding fries and hooks.
