An all-ocean event Information Test PvP Challenge

PvP Challenge Anyones game What PvP Challenge. The rules are Simple. Sign up, then on the week the event's taking place, win as many PvPs as you can. When Every Month I'll try to have a PvP challenge on a different Ocean. The length of each PvP Challenge Each challenge is a week long to give everyone a chance to PvP. So even if you aren't online one of the days, you still have a chance to win! Rules All contendants have to do a screenshot of the won Swordfight in each PvP they win - otherwise there is no way to ensure that a crew helps the contender by driving the ship when contender is asleep. If you want to win make sure you have those screenshots. To take a screenshot in-game, click PrtScn on your key board. Private Message GoldGenie the following, -the title/subject of your PM must be PvP-(pirate name) -in the body of the private message, add Pirate name again, Crew name, and the Ship you will be using Frequently asked Questions (Q) How will you know how many PvP wins i have on February 24th(example date)? (A)On the February 25th(example date), I will look at all the PvP records of the crews, of the pirates that signed up. (Q) I want to use more than one Ship. What do I do? (A) The maximum of ship names you can give me in the Private Message is 2. (Q) I have forgot to sign up, but I have won many PvPs the first couple of days. What do I do? (A) Im very sorry to hear that, and If you wish to partisipate, if the PvP challenge isn't over you can still send Cia a PM to sign-up (remember, I'll only start counting your pvp wins the day you signed-up) (Q) Why do I have to give the Ship name, of the ship i will be using? (A) I will only count PvP wins from that ship, this is to take away your Crew PvP wins from your own PvP wins for this event. (Q) Is the day based on puzzle pirate time? (A) When I look at the PvP record, im only counting the wins on the 24th of February. So yes, the day is based on Pirate time(Gametime). (Q) Can you PvP the same ship multipule times, or will only the first win count? (A) You can only PvP the same ship once! (Q) Hmm... another question - are there any limitations on the number of pirates allowed on the ship? Will the fact that more skilled players often have trouble finding PvPs - as most sloops look blue to us >< - be taken into account in any way? (A) There is no pirate limitation. Feel free to use what ever amount of pirates ye want. Even register a War Brig as your second ship for fun. :D (Remember if the ships are blue, that means they have less pirates aboard then you, if thats the case, try finding ships closer to your skill level. There will be plenty of skilled bnavers PvPing during this event) (Q) Will you be doing anything to prevent alt abuse? (A) Have fun using alts. There is no rule saying you cant have alts on your ship. BUT again you can only win a pvp against the same, other player's ship ONCE. (Q) Does pvps against my own crew ships count? (A) Im going to say no. Since it wont affect your own crew pvp stats, I figure any partisipant can just pvp people from there crew and tell them to lose. So the final answer is NO. (Q) If my Captain signed up for this event, can I also join this event too? I have my own ship. (A) Yes, you can go right a head, even if you dont have your own ship, you can just ask your captain if you can use a crew ship. Make sure you both dont pick the same ship though :P But remember, when you PvP, you are not allowed to PvP you Captain (Q) How many times can I attack the same crew? (A) I'm only counting 1pvp win against a particular crew each day (Q) What if we sign up and do not participate? Would this annoy you because running through more crews for no reason isn't too fun. (A) You are allowed to sign up and not participate, yes that is fine with me. Also why would it annoy me...even though it will take some time away from me drinking :( (Q) Also, do losees count aginst us other than in a possible tiebreaker? (A)Thats a good question! First let me answer and say no loses dont count against your total PvP wins Now Tiebreakers. If there are 2 people tied for first then the tiebreak will be determind by PvP loses. Example, Red won 22 pvps and lost 2 pvps. Blue won 22 pvps and lost 1 pvp. Blue will win since he lost only 1 pvp. Remember this only matters if there is a tie for first! (Q) How will the event be counting Disengages in a PvP? (A) I decided that Disengages count as nothing, since that doesnt show any skill by the winner. Which means even if I have 100 other player ship disengages, and 2 PvP wins. In the end I would only end up with 2points, since each PvP win counts as 1point. (Q) Oh, does your shippy have to be on an certain island? (A) No Donating to the Challenge Seeing how im a stranger to most Oceans, I'll need to find my prizes. If you can donate any of the following please Send a PM to Cia Poe Ships(Sloops, Cutters, War Brigs) Clothing "Useful" furniture(Carousing tables, chests, wardrobes, storage furniture...) I'm regretfully only accepting "New" clothing and "New" or "Good" furniture. We're sorry, but we don't want to give winners prizes that dust a week or two after they get them!
