The terms of service (often abbreviated "ToS") are the rules to which all players agree when they register for the game. Breaking these rules may result in punishment as determined by the Ocean Masters and the Ringers. If someone breaches the Terms of Service, players should use the /complain feature to report them to the Ocean Masters. They may also wish to /blackspot the user if their behaviour is causing a disturbance, although not all ToS violations merit blackspots, nor should blackspots only be used when the ToS is being violated.
