Transition from Fischer to Sonofab

There seems to be some ambiguity about how Sonofab became captain. Both Fischer and Sonofab appear to be Wiki contributors, so let's try to avoid an edit war. I've reverted the latest change only because it was deleted once already (and the grammar was incorrect). Perhaps a neutral party can write a description of what happened? --Barrister 01:11, 25 October 2005 (PDT)

There need not be any ambiguity as I sonofab became captain, at the end of the day i am captain and each time i look at my viridian sailors wiki i am looking at nonsense, i change it, it changes back i change it again it changes back and then i am told i don't have authority to change MY crew wiki page as i am interfering in some sort of "edit war", there is no "edit war" but a false allegations of what the truth really is. If i choose to have how i became captain on this page then I will choose but i will not be forced into disclosing information i really do not feel into going in to! Please allow no more editing on this page unless it is I, Sonofab captain of Viridian Sailors.

Also revert the wiki page to my last edit or one of grammatical effort.

I've checked the history, and compared versions down the line. The rough timeline appears to be that Fischer temporarily stepped down from the captaincy (29th September) leaving a return date. Fischer posted this. Ming/Sonofab edited this to make the captaincy change permanent on the 5th October. Fischer removed that edit upon his return on the 20th October. Ming/Sonofab has repeatedly tried to return that edit. Until the issue is resolved, there should be no further edits to the page. I, too, went through the edit history and came to much the same conclusion. At the moment, I'm considering the following text to describe the events. Please feel free to comment.

In September 2005, Fischer transferred the captaincy to Sonofab. Fischer intended this to be a temporary change, but a short time later, Sonofab announced the transfer was permanent.

The last post made seems satisfactory, but be aware there seems to be more that 2 people editing this page and if i come back to this wiki page and i see my name as Son of a Bitch then u better revert my access to edit!

Please read the help files on how to use the wiki and what a wiki is. This includes signing your comments, something which is easily done using the second to the last button on the edit window. If you are looking for something where you maintain absolute editorial control, I suggest that you get a free website at Geocities or other similar sites. Conflicting edits and resulting edit wars need to be resolved calmly & maturely on articles' talk pages. Threats are not appropriate and will get you nowhere. I think inappropriate behavior has to be clearly defined, if i am defending what it seems to me as a case of "edit wars" then surely me making u more aware that it is not solely I and King fischer editing these pages. Now if my editing rights has been removed and i noticed such "inappropriate" mentioning of myself or my crew then where does that leave equal rights in terms of "appriopriate material" Threats i agree are not appropriate however what you took as a threat mearly wasn't but a sign i am aware of other around me, but as easy as my "threat" was mis-read the same as yours " taking from an ocean master" can mistaken for a threat! If that is the case i'm happy with that however can the correct and true information be portrayed on the current wiki viridian sailors page, ie I Sonofab is still captain and Fischer is not, also we are part of the Imperial Coalition Flag and not ICLD. Ming26

There is proof that I never intended the change to be permanent. I have spoken to the OMs about this. There is also witnesses to prove what I have said. Attention has come to me that chat logs no longer serve as proof as they are edittable. But since Ming(Sonofab) does not wish to return it back to me, I have proposed a merger of the current crew I captain, Avengers, and Viridian Sailors. When I was still captain, Viridian Sailors was No. 1 with 500+ members, but however, it has dropped to 22nd with 171 members. I do not wish this to happen, as it was my first crew, and I still have feelings with it. I would have gladly helped to build back the crew, but Ming is very stubborn. Accidental Disbanding of the Crew

The crew was recently disbanded by accident from a misclick. Since this happened, the captain (Mokoni) has created Viridian Sailors once again, should we make this article a defunct crew page and make a new crew page or just delete most of the info and add new info? --Peterljr888 8:46, 15 April 2006 (PDT)
