Midnight vs. Azure

Opal Archipeligo changed in midnight versus azure. As a matter of fact, several archis changed slightly. Do we care about noting these changes?

While most archis changed only a few league points, in Opal, the locations of Endurance and Waterberry swapped.--AtteSmythe 25 July 2005 09:20 (PDT)

For the sake of ease of use, unless we want to migrate them, we could do Opal Archipelago (Azure) and leave this one as is. Or we could go the full route and change 'em ala Cobalt/Viridian if there aren't too many links. --Guppymomma 25 July 2005 09:22 (PDT)
My feeling is that the Midnight page should be the default for all Midnight/Azure name conflicts. If and when someone creates the Azure version of a name, then the Midnight page should have a short disambig text at the top. --Barrister 25 July 2005 09:57 (PDT)

Stub?

Why is this a stub? It looks precisely as complete as any other of Midnight's archipelago pages. --Diamondblade 13:52, 25 May 2007 (PDT)

Route coloring

Can we get some input regarding brigand/barbarians spawns in this arch to flesh out the rest of the route colors? Having fairly regularly run commods, my observations are as follows:

Orca - Nu: dark green or green (low average to average)

Orca - Endurance: dark green or green (low average to average)

Orca - Norse: input needed

Nu - Endurance: dark green (low average)

Nu - Norse: light green or yellow (high average to low hard)

Nu - Oseberg: input needed

Norse - Waterberry: light green or yellow (high average to low hard)

Waterberry - Boyle: input needed

Have a look at the Route color page for how the route colours are decided. So far as I understand it, route difficulties are decided upon when some sort of consensus is reached. That said, I've spent quite a bit of time tweaking the map templates of late, and most of them haven't been touched in over a year, many of them two. Looking over the forums, there are threads on occasion about updating route colours, but they generally seem to peter out without actually establishing anything. (Maybe I'll try starting a new one, because I'd really love to get rid of all those grey routes)
With that in mind, and barring any objections from other users, I'd be happy to take your route colours as they are, especially considering you said you've gone over those routes regularly. I'll even add them into the templates themselves if you're not certain you can do it. =)
On a side note, I've tried to standardise the use of colours over all of the maps - the colours that I've used are blue, turquoise, green, gold, orange and firebrick. I've used turquoise, gold and firebrick because they're less painfully bright than cyan, yellow or red while still conveying the same difficulty. Some routes in the Ruby Archipelago and Sapphire Archipelago maps use indianred as well, but I'm still deciding whether to simply convert all those to firebrick. --Belthazar451 05:17, 3 May 2008 (PDT)
Okay, it's been ten days - are there any objections to me simply adding in these route colours, from my comparison between Chumbucket's suggested colours and the standard set?
  • Orca - Nu
  • Orca - Endurance
  • Nu - Endurance
  • Nu - Norse
  • Norse - Waterberry
I'll wait another could of days to give people a chance to raise a fuss, then just add them. --Belthazar451 19:35, 13 May 2008 (PDT)
