Image

I've added an image of my portrait but noticed that the usual size for uploaded portraits seems to be 174px x 255px. Unfortunately I can't get Photoshop to work at the moment so if someone would be willing to resize and re-upload my portrait I would be very grateful. Cheers Jezabella 17:53, 15 February 2006 (PST)

Actually, what we need is the link for the portrait. You probably just saved the thumbnail from the gallery instead of the actual picture. It's not possible to make a thumbnail into a large picture without it looking really fuzzy and bad. --Guppymomma 17:07, 16 February 2006 (PST)

Aha! Thanks. I tried uploading the image from the portrait page.. but it looked all fuzzy even though I didn't resize it or anything. Thanks again for your help! Ooh I have another question too. The little arrows show up automagically if you are editing via an edit link for a section rather than the "edit this page" tab at the top. --Guppymomma 14:29, 17 February 2006 (PST)

Also the picture's fixed, I deleted some of the unneeded versions/reverts. If it still looks a little odd, just hit reload or wait a while until your browser cache reloads. --Guppymomma 14:32, 17 February 2006 (PST)

Stub Tag Re-added

Wondering why the 'stub' tag has been added back to this page? There is a decent amount of factual content. I can fluff it out more if you like, but that seems counter-productive to the usability of the wiki to me Jezabella 00:37, 1 June 2006 (PDT)

The stub tag was never removed, although it did get converted from "stub" to "piratestub". The page has sufficient information now, so I've removed the piratestub. --Barrister 02:50, 1 June 2006 (PDT)

Blockade History Template

Help, for the life of me I could not work out how to make the blockade history thingumma work to link to the Gaea V or Xi II entries --Jezabella 06:16, 2 June 2006 (PDT)

To link within an article, all you have to do is add a pound sign, then the subsection you're linking to. The Midnight blockade history (assuming you wanted to link there) is organized by month, so you would link to Midnight blockade history#August 2005... if you wanted to format that, you might do it as Gaea V--Ponytailguy 07:27, 2 June 2006 (PDT)

There's a template for this. It links directly to the right subsection of the page. For Gaea V, you'd use {{blockade|ocean=Midnight|island=Gaea|number=V}} which would give a link to Gaea V. --Barrister 17:36, 2 June 2006 (PDT)
