I dont believe buying a familiar or winning one from an non-OM sponsored event is allowed to be considered familiar winner (or that page would get crowded with everyone who has bought a familiar). This was the winning team in Team Brawl for Ocl on viridian:

Alexaleo, Ejmueller, End, Brettisshort, Abolish, Sheridyn

Unless the pirate in question is an alt of one of these, then I think the white parrot familiar is bought rather than won from OMs. I dont see how a GM ranked pirate would be in the winning team of team brawl.
