What would qualify someone (other than the OMs of course) as a famous YPP name? - Taco (Shandra)

Self evident I'd have thought - if an entrant deems someone worthy of the time and effort involved in creating a portrait then they probably are notable enough. However, on reflection and given the time constraints I'm wondering if it might be best to whittle it down to Cleaver and Nemo in this first contest - winner of each one to be placed in the Gallery with sub pages for all runners up. What think ye? Jerze

Why not just have all models approved by you/your volunteers before they start painting? More flexible without allowing any captain of a two-pirate crew to qualify. --Teeg 09:34, 20 January 2006 (PST)

I agree with Teeg. That way, no poor artist has to work for hours on a portrait and then be told that he/she accidentally did someone who doesn't qualify. --Gloraelin 11:23, 20 January 2006 (PST)
