Questions

How do you plan to enforce the no whisking policy? The litmus tests for rules should be, only rules you can enforce. Ideally, you could have them all join your crew temporarily and check vessel records, forcing them to buy 1 rum or 1 cb from a specific location at each island, however even that has a loophole. What is to prevent me from sending somebody on to get the next clues while I am sailing my ship around a few steps behind them? Perhaps, if you intend to stick to this, might be to enlist some help with watching the docks, maybe. Somebody could sit at a deported ship and watch the arrivals, but it is pretty easy to miss somebody, too.

Are the islands all going to be only colonized islands, or also uncivilized wild islands? I ask because, on colonized islands you might perhaps enlist the help of somebody with access to palace records at each island. They can sell something, like cbs, and then inform your "hint" person that XXX pirate just bought a cb and is looking for you now. It seems very difficult to enforce, even so...Perhaps somebody else can offer better suggestions.

My second question is, you mentioned they'd have to trade something. Pirates would have to know up front how much of an investment they need to make in order to complete this event.--Muroni 06:00, 8 February 2006 (PST)
