Payment examples

For elite/even pay at 100 per segment- 10 jobbers all receiving fines will receive 100 PoE. 5 booched jobbers and 5 excellent jobbers will give the booched jobbers 0 PoE and the excellent 200 PoE. 5 fine jobbers and 5 incredible jobbers will give the fine jobbers 33 PoE and the incredible jobbers 166 PoE.

This makes no sense as according to this the incredible people are getting less than the excellent people, unless this is 3 different examples, if so then this is still a really confusing layout! I think that the whole of this section may need an overhaul! --Whitemonkey 00:27, 10 November 2006 (PST)

It makes sense. It's listing two cases of 10 jobbers. It clearly states the examples are for 10 jobbers in elite/even pay. Then it states two different cases where those jobbers get different duty reports. I'm not sure how much more clear it needs to be. The payments are scaled relative to what duty reports were received and you cannot directly compare the excellent & booched example with the incredible & fine example. Try reading more carefully. --Guppymomma 08:12, 10 November 2006 (PST)
I think a case of the reading whilst tipsies was the issue here... no more yppedia for drunk monkeys! --Whitemonkey 14:22, 17 November 2006 (PST)

Accept Jobbers Problems

Has anyone had the problem of getting on a boat and not being able to accept jobbers on it? Even after verifying there was still plenty of money in the offer and resetting everything. This is the second time at an event blockade I have had one ship I couldn't mark to pay but several others that I could do just fine--Stlnmyhrt 14:10, 17 November 2006 (PST)

This question is better suited for the Technical Issues forum. If it's truly a bug, the developers will read it there, but probably won't see it here. --Barrister 14:40, 17 November 2006 (PST)
Thanks I have added it there, just wondered if if maybe we should add a known problem section. To keep the OM petitions about it down, as we had several crew mates send them in today.--Stlnmyhrt 21:48, 17 November 2006 (PST)
