Qaniit-Insel is a medium island in the Crab Archipelago. There are two known routes from the island: Nunataq Island and Paollu Island.

Sugar cane in the northeast of the island read, "This island were fashioned by Misled."
This island's name is the West Greenlandic Inuit word for falling snow.
