Official Talk:Blockades

From YPPedia

Small nitpick

In the section that says "Whether a blockade is sinking or not sinking is decided at the beginning of each round, thus if the defender, for example, rescinds its state of war with the contender then the next round will be non-sinking." shouldn't the example be changed to say if the defender reciprocates war, then the next round will be sinking." Reason being that the current example is an impossible situation because war cannot end during a blockade last I checked (since the attacker cannot reciprocate the truce, and even if the defender is offering a truce, the blockade is still sinking). Also, the bit about ships being able to re-enter a blockade is very old, and should probably be changed, since it's obviously not true. --Thunderbird 16:57, 18 January 2006 (PST)

Broken link

There is a broken image link for Blockadescoreboard.gif

I don't think you want people to be able to upload an image in its place. --Behindcurtai 19:16, 27 January 2006 (PST)

Nonsinking sinks?

Official:Blockades#Sinking_and_Non-Sinking_Blockades says they can reenter...as far as I recall this isn't true. Can we get confirmation on this? --Guppymomma 16:51, 27 March 2006 (PST)

I suspect that's a really old part of the original documentation, which was written before vessels that were lost in a nonsinking blockade were barred from re-entry. --Thunderbird 16:55, 27 March 2006 (PST)
Fixed, thanks! --Lizthegrey 18:11, 27 March 2006 (PST)

Event Blockades and Creating a Blockade Job

These are in fact now implemented on the production Oceans and no longer just in testing on Ice. -- Faulkston 21:47, 17 October 2006 (PDT)

Blockade Jobbing image

This image is outdated since the voyage configuration revamp, and should probably be updated or changed to an already existing image (there is one that is similar, but I don't know if it is appropriate). --Thunderbird 00:18, 21 May 2007 (PDT)
