Lorddke
Lorddke is the captain of the crew -Obliteration- and prince in the flag Seas the Day on the Hunter Ocean. When Lorddke isn't playing poker or the navigation puzzle, he enjoys grossly abusing flag broadcast. His new favorite hobby is buying Dhows and seeing how quickly he can sink them in Imperial Outpost attacks.
Biography
Lorddke found Puzzle Pirates one day, late at night. This was a long time ago, back in 2004. He found the game before there was poker or even rumble. He enjoyed battle naving, where you got to run into ship to grapple instead of using the grapple function. He also enjoyed the bank having a function, before the global purse existed. He played for a few months and stopped.
He picked up again in 2005 and played on Cobalt under a different name. It was a cursory experience focusing on different things but he liked to reminisce that the only way to make money pillages and tournaments. He again left after a few months of playing. During this time he has no recollection of what crew he was a member.
He may have played during the Summer of 2006, but the historians are unsure. It has been lost in the annals of Puzzle Pirates lore.
In the Winter of 2008, he decided to entertain himself again. He decided to try a dub ocean and serendipitously Hunter was chosen for him. When he joined, there was this new thing called Sea Monster Hunts. He fell in love with them for their allogeneous nature to everything else he had done. He applied for an SMH with the crew -Obliteration-. Cindysuelou would not job him. He sent her a tell explaining he has moved from Cobalt. He used his linguistic prowess to convince her he had the qualifications to join even though he did not, even on Cobalt. He joined, enjoyed it, and convinced Cindysuelou also to let him join as full.
From there the story grows. He enjoyed the crew and soon rose through the ranks. Although, he still believes he was promoted only because he won in poker and let Cindysuelou be a roommate in his very enlarging houses.
Soon, the crew left and made their own flag Seas the Day. Lorddke wondered if that flag could ever be powerful on the ocean. However an FO said something to him that is now the pinnacle of irony. He was told that "STD could never blockade an Island like Alkaid because Access Denied was too big, had too big of an alliance, and was too well connected to ever be defeated in a blockade." Well, that was proven wrong when STD took Alkaid and defended it to this day.
Soon, the Governorship of Alkaid was passed to him and now he loves trying to convince the OM's to let him place Christmas trees on the beach. His attempts have been rejected 17 times.
Upon Dogindafog's retirement, Lorddke graciously accepted the captainship of -Obliteration- and has been threatening to demote anyone who cheers against his hockey team ever since.
Accomplishments
- Former governor of Alkaid Island and Sayers Rock.
- Owns rare menagerie of awarded familiars and pets
- Owns the most expensive ship on Hunter, a Grand frigate, the HMS Defiance.
- Now owns Mocha, Parrot (tan, tan). Along with Mediocrity, Lorddke owns the only tan/brown and the only tan/tan parrots on Hunter.
- His crowning achievement was co-creating and instituting the first ever Shoppe Blockade, or an Embargo. It accomplished its goal flawlessly.[1]
