Islay of Luthien was a large island located in the Ruby Archipelago. There were four known routes from the island: Eta Island, Lynx Island, Jorvik Island, and an inter-archipelago route to Nuptial Island in the Pearl Archipelago.

History

Islay of Luthien is named after Lúthien Tinúviel, a character in the Lord of the Rings book series. The word itself likely derives from the Old English word for love, lufien.
