Game concept

Hammer pieces as the pieces scroll across the screen at a moderate speed.

Objective

Hammer the pieces into patterns that fill shapes until ten shapes are filled.

Gameplay

On the right side of the screen there are three shapes of different weapons. In the center is a box with three rows of colored and marked pieces scrolling across at a moderate speed. The color-marking pairs are as follows: Green-Bar, Red-Fire, Blue-Water, and Yellow-Billows. All color-marking pairs are one block size (one block is 60 x 60). On the left side of the screen are patterns made of different color-marking pairs. In order for a player to fulfill the objective, he/she must hammer out the patterns and fill up the shapes. To hammer a color-marking pair and put it into the topmost pattern that needs it, you click on the pair. When you click on it, that row stops as the piece disappears and a place in one of the patterns is filled in. Afterwards, the row continues on as normal. When one pattern is filled in a small part of the topmost shape is filled in (the amount the shape is filled depends on the complexity of the pattern). After the shape is filled, it moves into a bar and fills in one slot. When all slots are filled, the game ends.

Scoring

Players score by completing longer patterns of 4-6 pairs and by using bonus pieces in their patterns, which are marked with white, red, gold, or silver, depending on the bonus.

Variability

Players encounter rubies (red), diamonds (white), silver, (silver), and gold (gold), which improve upon the score when the shape is filled.

End criteria

When the character has successfully filled ten shapes, the game ends.

Difficulty scaling

As players get better, longer patterns, shape targeting, and bar-shape requirements appear along with bonus pieces.

Crafting type

Iron monger.

Known problems

With random shapes being generated in the bar and on the side, people could be forced to fill a shape that isn’t on the bar.
