Dayne

Dayne is a senior officer and Carpenter of the crew Whose Crew is it Anyways. She sails the Hunter Ocean. She is known as "Shay" and for her humor and also a loud docktart, along the side of her good friends and her Bebe, Cloudx. Dayne can be scared to try new things and is rarely caught pillaging but has been trying to improve her laziness. She also has issues with saving her PoE! With her hearties, Dayne goofs around and has fun, but on her own, she quietly thanks God daily for blessing her with people who are good friends to her, on and off PuzzlePirates.
History
"Shay" started out as Lilshay late in 2005, spending her greenie days on the docks being a goofy new player. There, she met a pirate who was slapping things with a fish and yelling "Praise Melvin!". His name was Nightmarexx. Immediately they because friends and this made him Dayne's first PuzzlePirate friend, and they spent their lazy days on the docks together.
One day, Shay was doing what she calls 'Tailortarting' on Pukru Island's An Eye For Fashion ('Tailortarting' -- To spend a large amount of time putting on clothes and lazing around in any tailors.) when a strange pirate walked into the tailors. He didn't look so different from any other pirate Shay had seen, so she ignored him and let him alone. He generally walked over to the rack and started to try on clothing. He soon put on a pink wig that sagged behind his head. Suddenly, he walked over to Shay and stood behind her at an awkward angle, letting the wig sag on her shoulder. Shay paused and with giving him a ">.>" moved across the room and away from his wig. He soon followed and positioned the wig in her face. "Your wig is in my face." She said, as if it wasn't obvious. "Wig?" the man said. "What wig?" Shay caught on to his joke and laughed at him. She moved over to the rack and put on a wig to sag back on him. For an hour or so, they had a wig war and battled over who's wig hung in who's face. She soon came to know him as Cloudx, and he became one of her all-time best friends to this day.
Shay docktarted with her two new friends on Chachapoya Island, her home island, and through Nightmarexx, met another greenie named Dynamiteyo! Shay and 'Dyna' became as close as sisters and soon became close friends with each other and Nightmarexx as well. The three of them made The Green Cult, and wore mostly green and white every day to show their spirit to the Cult and to a god they randomly made up named Melvin.
Another lazy day passed on the docks, and everyone was on Chachapoya's dock because it was the 'hot spot' at the time. Shay saw Cloudx with his newly bought pink wig, and went to tease him about it. She joined his circle and there she met one of Cloudx's very close best friends, Skelrose. Skelrose was and is a very confident pirate who believed he could do anything, and he soon became like a close brother of Shay's, and still is to this day.
Soon and slowly, pirates who docktarted on Chachapoya seemed to migrate over to Quetzel Island's dock because it was more spacious and easier to stand about. This is where Shay met Roddypiper, an amusing pirate who was known for his random kilt, his kind heart, and his hilarious attitude. Since Dynamiteyo stalked Roddypiper, Shay soon met him and they became close friends, too.
The five of them were friends and occasionally docktarted with one another, and 2 years passed of Shay meeting some really interesting people who have been close friends to her to this very day, and she had come to love them all. And after that year passed, Shay's friends all seemed to start quitting PuzzlePirates. This upset her and she soon quit.
Months and months passed. Shay eventually came back but not as Lilshay, but as Dayne. Her pirate days on the docks were somewhat lonely, missing her friends yet meeting new. All the pirates who once docktarted on Chachapoya were now gone, and everyone had begun docktarting at Quetzel Island's dock.
One day, a pirate named Skellers was arguing with another pirate on the dock and soon Dayne and him started having a conversation. It was Skelrose! They talked even more and began to look for Cloudx, who was rarely seen and mysteriously hard to find. Within looking, Skelrose and Dayne found Kortnai (Who turned out to be Dynamiteyo) and randomly found Roddypiper standing behind a line of people. The 4 of them were close again, and when Dayne finally found Cloudx (Who was still wearing a wig..) they made a crew named Atlas Failed, and was soon changed to Whose Crew is it Anyways. Unfortunately, Dayne could never find Nightmarexx and The Green Cult was long gone.
Dayne, Roddypiper, Cloudx, Kortnai, and Skelrose once again began docktarting together and making 'zings' (Jokes,) in their /crew chat.
Eventually Dayne and the rest of her crew had to say farewell to Skelrose and Roddypiper, for quitting due to unknown reasons and the whereabouts of Cloudx are unknown. This left her and her sisterly-like heartie alone together until they stumbled upon an enjoyable pirate named Justout. The three of them grew close and spent months together until Kortnai and Dayne realized they needed to move on. They agreed that they'd never forget each other as well as they'd never forget Justout and all the other hearties they'd grown close to.
It has been reported that Dayne and Kortnai quit around August 26th of 2009.

Through out the years of PuzzlePirates, through the hearties; through the laughs and the real life lessons learned; through the happy and sad moments; through the smiles and through the frowns; and through the real friendship relationships I've been blessed to find.. I have learned that distance does not define real friends, but that people who stick with you and listen to you and try to help do. I'll miss you all.
