Criminal Instinct was a crew that sailed the Midnight Ocean that was founded on June 19, 2004 under the name Pieces O' Hate.
History of Criminal Instinct
Following the Waterdragons split from Dead Parrot's Society, Lawgirl and Straffe were asked to revive a dead crew that were also in Dead Parrot's Society called Pieces O' Hate. Once a prosperous crew, it had fallen dormant with only one active member. Straffe became the Captain and Lawgirl became the First Mate, both charged with renewing the fortunes of this crew. A few months later, the active crew membership had risen to around 40, and the senior crew decided to aim for the blockade of Delta Island. However, the first attempt was a failure, as was the second.
The monarch of Dead Parrot's Society, Pewnatious fell dormant leaving the flag without an active monarch. Lawgirl took control of the flag and helped. After a short while however, the flag started to disintegrate with crews having different goals in mind. Rather than destroying the flag, Straffe and Lawgirl opted to move the crew out of the flag and create a new one by the name of Lawful Intentions, and shortly afterwards, the crew name was changed to Criminal Instinct.
The newly-named Criminal Instinct crew retained Straffe as captain and Lawgirl as First Mate, and carried on building the crew in an effort to blockade an island. In January 2006, it was decided that, due to the large number of teens in the crew, a teen-oriented crew would be created. Katkin was nominated to be the captain under the name Taknik until one of the members of the crew would take over. This crew is known as To Kill A Kipper.
By May of 2007 the crew had been merged into Crazed Norse Vikings.

We're a vicious bunch o' pirates who give no quarter to those who keep us from our precious POE. Now as long as ye crew with me ye'll all get fair shares of the booty, i'm not interested in pinchin PoE of a jobber or a Senior Officer. If ye do yer work, then ye get POE. If ye don't, ye get planked.
