Visionary Fantasy was founded by Misschrome. She was the previous monarch until she handed off her throne to Lovesbobyjoe. Flwerz won the contest held by Daydreamers to name the flag. According to her entry the meaning of daydreamers is "a visionary fantasy experienced while awake, especially one of happy, pleasant thoughts, hopes, or ambitions". She won 1000 PoE in the contest. Captbigbelly a friend of the Daydreamers donated PoE to help found the flag. As the public statement says, "We want a flag that wants to have fun and to puzzle without the drama. We look for crews that are respectful toward each other and respectful to themselves."
