New images to upload

Alrighty, I've made new versions of both this image and Image:Dhow Main Deck.png, adding the ocean in the background (like the other ones) and removing the Yohoho Tools symbols that appeared over all the entry arrows. In the process of adding in the ocean, I also rectified the fact that the Baghlah image is not unpainted, and also corrected the position of the rear mast - in the game, it's one tile closer to the stern of the ship. Unfortunately, the wiki won't let me upload them, claiming the images are too large. Considering that the Xebec main deck image that Amoyer uploaded is even larger, I'm guessing that the admins aren't subject to the same requirement, but how would I get the files to one of you? --Belthazar451 05:08, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

That's odd. There's no special admin allowance as far as I know. It doesn't let you ignore the size warning? --Guppymomma 05:42, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Nope. It's not like the normal warnings with a button saying "upload anyway", it just sends me back to the Upload File screen with a blaring red message at the top. The message says "This file is bigger than the server is configured to allow." --Belthazar451 05:45, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Admins have the same problem of a file size limit of some sort. The file you reference by Cedarwings predates the upgrade to MediaWiki 1.12. It's possible that version added a max file size limit. I tried downloading the Xebec Main Deck image and reuploading it to a different filename and got the "too big" error. --Thunderbird 08:21, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Found it. The setting linked to was added in 1.8. At the time of the upload of the Xebec main deck image, we were on 1.7. --Thunderbird 08:29, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Can it be changed? And if not, what's plan B? =) --Belthazar451 09:45, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
Shrink your image in size until it can be uploaded. It may take a bit for OOO to fix it for us, after they do then you can upload the full version. --Guppymomma 16:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
