From YPPedia

Ahoy! Thanks for your many contributions to YPPedia. It's always great to have people help out. I notice you've used "piratey language" in some of your tutorials. As a matter of style and consistency, we've decided to avoid the use of words like "ye", "yer", "fer", etc. The rationale is to make YPPedia as accessible as possible for the players, including those for whom English is not their primary language. Thanks. --Barrister 12:07, 28 March 2006 (PST)

Bilging videos

Your bilging tutorial has links to videos on another site. Would you like to move them (or have me move them) to YPPedia? --Barrister 12:23, 2 April 2006 (PDT)

Videos can be moved???? I had planned to move the images to YPPedia and format them nicely, the way I did fer the Whirlpool tutorial, but I've been busy. I didn't think the YPPedia had room fer video files.--Tcarr 15:05, 2 April 2006 (PDT)
Well, I thought they could, but it's not letting me. Let me do some research and get back to you. --Barrister 16:07, 2 April 2006 (PDT)
There's no way to upload videos to YPPedia, at least not through the wiki part of it (it could be uploaded to the site through FTP or such, but I'm pretty sure the wiki software doesn't allow for user uploads beyond images. What you might consider doing, however, is YYPediaizing the images, as you suggested (in truth, it probably doesn't matter much one way or the other, but the more puritan among us might like as much as possible actually on the wiki :P). --Emufarmers 17:43, 2 April 2006 (PDT)
